According to an article on News Busters, CBS co-anchor Norah O’Donnell called Global Warming skeptics, deniers:
CBS This Morning co-anchor Norah O’Donnell on Monday adopted alarmist language for global warming. She referred to climate skeptics as “deniers.” CBS offered two stories on a new United Nations report predicting catastrophic weather in the future.
Physicist Michio Kaku appeared as a guest and worried, “But collectively, 100-year storms, 100-year floods, 100-year droughts, 100-year forest fires. I mean, something very dangerously is happening with the weather.” O’Donnell sneered, “And to those climate change deniers?” (Video Below)
What happens when a representative from Google attends a meeting held by a group who was co-founded by a Socialist? The Google rep gives them advice on how to win elections of course.
According to an article on I-Politics, Lauren Skelly who is the public policy and government relations representative for Google Canada, spoke at the Progress Summit on the 28th where she talked to the Progressives in the audience about the importance of using to Social Media and You Tube to win elections:
Google’s Lauren Skelly had a very simple message for delegates at the Broadbent Institute’s Progress Summit: get on the internet, because online engagement is key for campaigns.
“This is a way for you to reach so many more people than you are right now,” she told a crowded room at the Delta Hotel in downtown Ottawa.
It’s likely something the roomful of left-leaning campaigners and organizers have heard before: social media, whether with Facebook or Twitter or Google Plus, or all of the above – is increasingly important in organizing campaigns, whether for elections or for other causes.
And Skelly, who does public policy and government relations for Google Canada, made the pitch that Google Plus, as well as YouTube which is owned by Google, is an important place to be online.
The first annual summit features speakers, panel events and a keynote from former Australian prime minister Julia Gillard over the course of the weekend.
At the Google campaign session, Skelly noted that Google and YouTube are the two largest search engines on the internet, touting examples from the United States of politicians and campaigns using Google tools effectively. Viewers are twice as likely to remember a message, in video format, when they see it both on television and on YouTube, she added.
Obamacare was sold to the American public as a way to make insurance cheaper therefore more affordable to more people. While this has proven to be a lie, there seems to be an unknown bonus to signing up with Obamacare. Voter Registration cards that are filled out for you.
According to an article on ABC 10 News, a Republican couple in California received a voter registration card from the state Obamacare agency that already had the party affiliation marked as “Democrat”:
LA MESA, Calif. – A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state’s Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an “x” in the box next to Democratic Party.
The couple – who did not want their identity revealed – received the letter and voter registration card from their health insurance provider Covered California, the state-run agency that implements President Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
They have lived in La Mesa for years and they have always been registered to vote Republican. Now, they are perplexed as to how the voter registration card pre-marked Democrat ended up in their mailbox.
When a person places their hand on their face after witnessing something that could only be described as incredibly stupid, it’s known as a Facepalm.
When it comes to Senator Harry Reid, a Facepalm is the normal reaction for most people after listening to the words that come out of his mouth.
Case in point. According to an article on the Washington Post, Harry Reid’s latest concern isn’t for the down economy, or even the failure of Obamacare, (or the corruption investigation into his campaign funds) instead he is wasting everyone’s time by claiming that the Washington Redskins are going to change their name, it’s only a matter of when:
Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) predicted Thursday that the Redskins will change their name within three years.
Reid said he was unimpressed by the Redskins’ new charitable endeavor for Native Americans, the Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation, which was launched earlier this week. The team announced the creation of the foundation after conducting four months of research into Native American issues and opinions, a process that included visits to 26 Indian reservations in 20 states.
The team also announced that it had distributed “over 3,000 cold-weather coats to several tribes, as well as shoes to players on boys and girls basketball teams,” and that it “assisted in the purchase of a new backhoe for the Omaha Tribe in Nebraska.”
Reid, though, called the effort “a phony deal, like everything [owner Dan Snyder has] done.”
“Dan Snyder, he’s got a great new deal,” Reid said in a phone conversation. “He’s going to throw a few blankets to the Indians and get a tax deduction for it. I can’t imagine why the man doesn’t realize that the name is going to change. It’s only a question of when it’s going to change. That’s the only question.”

Three years ago former Energy Secretary Chu explained that the way to fight Global Warming was to brainwash children so that they’ll put pressure on their parents to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
Along those same lines, some teachers in the United Kingdom have come up with a fun way to do the brainwashing.
According to an article on The Guardian, some teachers in the UK are using frightening games to “Dupe” children into believing in Climate Change:
Apocalyptic images of melting ice-caps, dying polar bears and dried-up river beds are all pretty frightening, but are shock tactics really the best way to encourage our young to care for the planet? The best medicine may not be the usual prescribed guilt trip but rather a healthy dose of fun and games.
“Play and games hook them into the subject,” explains English teacher Sian Carter. “A lot of the time they don’t realise they are actually learning and think they are just having fun. It’s a bit of dupe in a way but a very successful one.”
Carter, who is in charge of developing teaching and learning across The Mountbatten School in Hampshire, uses everything from giant snakes and ladders to Monopoly to teach her class of secondary students. The children create the questions themselves and while she has more commonly used these traditional board games to teach literature, the lesson can be adapted to suit any subject, including environmental awareness.
If you wondered yesterday why Senator Harry Reid would say something as stupid as accusing the GOP of helping Russia seize Crimea, well today you have your answer. It would seem he was trying to distract the public from the fact that he has been doing some shady things with money he raised for his campaign.
According to an article on USA Today, Harry Reid is being forced to pay back $17,000 to his campaign fund that he gave to his granddaughter:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is refunding his campaign nearly $17,000 that went to his granddaughter’s jewelry company, several news outlets report.
The move comes after the Federal Election Commission officials questioned the payments from Reid’s campaign. In a letter sent last week, federal regulators asked for details about “holiday gifts” that his campaign funded.
Campaign reports show two payments to Ryan Elisabeth, but Nevada political journalist Jon Ralston said the recipient’s full name is Ryan Elisabeth Reid, the Nevada Democrat’s California-based granddaughter.
Attempts to reach Reid campaign officials late Tuesday were unsuccessful.
Feminist studies professor Mireille Miller-Young. (LifeNews)
Even though the University of California refuses to discipline their Feminist Studies Professor, Mireille Miller-Young, for allegedly assaulting a 16 year-old Pro-Life protester earlier this month, the District Attorney’s Office has other ideas.
According to an article on The College Fix, Professor Miller-Young has been charged with battery over the incident:
The University of California-Santa Barbara professor who allegedly assaulted a pro-life student on campus has been charged with criminal battery.
Miller-Young led a small mob that approached a group of pro-life demonstrators who were holding signs. The mob chanted “tear down the sign.” Miller-Young then grabbed one of the signs and stormed off with it, eventually engaging in a physical altercation with 16-year-old Short, one of the pro-life demonstrators, when Short tried to retrieve the stolen sign.

A Communist teacher depicted in the 1940′s comic book, Is This Tomorrow? (conlrad.com)
There seems to be an epidemic of late where self described Communist school teachers are making news. Several days ago, Progressives Today reported how a self described Communist college professor was insulted for being called a Marxist. This week, we discover two more Communist school teachers in the news.
According to an article in The New York Post, two Communist teachers are suing the NYPD Commissioner for discrimination:
Two self-described communist schoolteachers are suing the city and NYPD Commissioner William Bratton for discrimination because the police department has refused to issue loudspeaker permits for their annual May Day parade through Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
In their Brooklyn federal court suit, Mary Lonergan and Jessica Foard, who identify themselves as schoolteachers and members of the Revolutionary Communist Progressive Labor Party, claim that other groups are routinely provided with loudspeaker permits but that they’ve been stymied because of their controversial political position.
There are few things that make a man dread for the future of the country more than seeing a room full of young adults cheer as a Progressive kook spreads the fiction that is man-made Global Warming.
According to an article on The Daily Titan, Bill Nye was the Keynote speaker at a Math and Science Symposium in California where he preached about the dangers of Climate Change and world overpopulation:
Chants from the theme of Bill Nye the Science Guy, the hit ‘90s science show, filled the sold-out Titan Student Union Pavilions. Bill Nye himself took the stage Thursday to deliver a much-anticipated keynote to end the two-day Science and Math Symposium.
“Change the world,” he urged the bow tie-clad audience who grew up seeing him on TV explaining science in a way that was understandable and approachable.
“Having a planetary perspective allows you to think about our place in space, and our place in the cosmos differently than any generation before you,” he said.
Putting our planet in perspective, Nye explained that the atmosphere of Mars is 95 percent carbon dioxide and in 1997, the Earth’s atmosphere was .03 percent carbon dioxide.
“Everybody in here was alive when this number changed from .03 to .04. This tiny change in the amount of carbon dioxide in the earth’s atmosphere is causing the world’s climates to change,” he said. “And that is the challenge I was you to take on. I want you to, dare I say it–change the world!”
The global population, Nye said, rolled over to 3 billion people when he had just made his way through third grade, and that number has more than doubled since then to nearly 7.2 billion today. The 7 billion people trying to breathe the thin atmosphere is the problem, he said.
An argument could be made that President Obama’s legacy will consist mainly of failed progressive policies and White House released pictures of himself in response to, well.. everything (not counting the selfie above).
But according to an article on The Sydney Morning Herald, a former White House adviser claims that President Obama considers his fight to curb (fictional) man-made Global Warming as the key to his Presidential legacy during his second term:
Heather Zichal, who worked with Barack Obama from his 2008 election campaign until late last year when she resigned as chief climate and energy adviser, said the president viewed action to curb global warming as ”key to his legacy in his second term”.
It’s a shame the President doesn’t consider the reduction of unemployment and job killing regulations key to his legacy…. but then again, that wouldn’t be very “Sustainable” of him. Would it?
