Nancy Pelosi Just Refused To Answer THIS FACTUAL ABORTION QUESTION

nancy pelosi2

When confronted with logic and facts, liberals usually have a hard time answering questions about their positions on abortion, the economy and gun rights.

So when House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was asked this scathing and truth-filled question about abortion, it was a no-brainer that she wasn’t able to give a straight answer.

On Thursday, a reporter for asked the House Minority Leader about the definition of human life. “In reference to funding for Planned Parenthood,” the reporter said, “is an unborn baby with a human heart and a human liver a human being?”

Pelosi, flabbergasted by basic facts and elementary logic, struggled to both respond and to move her face: “Why don’t you take your ideological questions – I don’t, I don’t have –“

The reporter then continued, “If it’s not a human being, what species is it?”

Pelosi finally cracked her Botox long enough to blurt:

No, listen, I want to say something to you. I don’t know who you are and you’re welcome to be here, freedom of this press. I am a devout practicing Catholic, a mother of five children. When my baby was born, my fifth child, my oldest child was six years old. I think I know more about this subject than you, with all due respect….I do not intend to respond to your questions, which have no basis in what public policy is that we do here.

If Nancy can’t answer the most basic abortion question, what else can’t she answer?

Sen. Landrieu Says 20-Week Abortions are OK Because the Babies Could Not Survive Outside of a Hospital

Mary Landrieu

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana), who’s in a tough battle for re-election, says she opposes a recently passed late abortion ban in her home state (and a similar federal bill) because it bans abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Landrieu said she “personally” believes that life begins at conception, but that she opposes these measures because “20 weeks is not the norm for being able to live outside of a hospital.”

If the ability to survive outside of a hospital determines whether a human should be put to death, there are an awful lot of old and sick people who should be in the execution line.

We grabbed a video depicting a typical human fetus at the 20-week mark. After watching it, we believe even Sen. Landrieu (who is hopelessly caught between the conservative majority in her state and the leftist pro-abortion crowd in her party) would agree that 5-month fetuses are very human, very much alive, and certainly worth saving.

SHOCK: Planned Parenthood Points to BIBLE to Justify Abortions

Wow. Planned Parenthood is unbelievable.

The group is now issuing a “pastoral letter” to prospective abortion clients that claims,

The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures—Jewish or Christian—and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision.”

pastoral letter

Courtesy of, it reads:

The decision to have an abortion is personal. Though your reasons may be complicated and private, you’re not alone. As religious leaders from a number of religious traditions, we’re here to
support you in your decision.

Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion. The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures—Jewish or Christian—and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision.

The beliefs of each person are deserving of respect, and each person deserves care and compassion. No one should be allowed to force their faith teachings on anyone else.

We believe this decision is yours, made with your doctor and anyone else you choose to bring into the conversation, such as a spouse, partner, parent, or clergy person. …

God loves you and is with you no matter what you decide. You can find strength, understanding, and comfort in that love.

Louisiana lawmakers pass bill to bar Planned Parenthood from state’s classrooms

Louisiana’s classrooms will soon be off-limits to representatives from Planned Parenthood and other organizations that financially profit from abortion.

On Tuesday, the Louisiana Senate gave final approval to a bill that prohibits individuals linked to groups with a financial incentive to promote abortion from distributing health information in schools, the Associated Press reports.

The measure passed both chambers of the Louisiana State Legislature by a combined vote of 122-11, and is expected to be officially signed into law by Gov. Bobby Jindal in the coming days, reports.

While the legislation does not identify Planned Parenthood by name, it’s widely understood lawmakers had that group in mind when they wrote the bill – and for good reason.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America has amassed a stunning fortune – with reported assets of more than $1.6 billion – in large part by killing unborn children. A recent report reveals Planned Parenthood aborted 327,166 babies in the year ending Sept. 30, 2012.

Some hardcore progressives are upset that Planned Parenthood won’t be allowed to disperse its propaganda and troll for clients in Louisiana’s schools anymore.

Leftists say 72-hour waiting period for abortions is evidence of ‘war on women,’ but waiting periods for gun purchases is common sense

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A bill that would triple Missouri’s waiting period for an abortion has passed the General Assembly and could become law if Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon’s “profound concerns” about the measure don’t lead him to veto it. reports:

“The bill … would require a woman to wait 72 hours after visiting a doctor seeking an abortion to have the procedure. Current law requires a woman to wait 24 hours after the doctor provides information about the abortion procedure, potential risks involved, including the possibility of a loss of ability to become pregnant in the future, and information about alternatives to abortion.”

Missouri would join Utah and South Dakota as the only states with a three-day waiting period for abortions.

“This is going to give people the proper time to actually think about what they’re doing,” said Republican state Rep. Donna Lichtenegger. “I think that life is an important issue, and I don’t think that 72 hours is too long to think about a life.”

It is for progressives, who are characterizing the potential law as more evidence of the GOP’s “war on women.”

“They actually think what is best for a woman who has been raped and impregnated by a relative, is to remain pregnant and wait 72 MORE hours to think about whether or not she wants to terminate,” writes abortion activist Lizz Winstead, according to “No really. This is how they value women. The message is loud and clear.”

Actually, the only thing “loud and clear” is the left’s hypocrisy on this issue.

The pro-life lawmakers are simply using the same logic the gun control lobby uses to push for waiting periods on gun purchases.

One of the main reasons progressives give for supporting delayed firearm purchases is so individuals are forced to undergo a “cooling off” period that guards against impulsive acts of violence, like murder or suicide, according to

How is that any different than giving a woman a chance to cool down and think twice about taking the life of her own baby?

But wild-eyed leftists refuse to acknowledge the similarities in the policies. Abortion, to them, is the highest expression of a woman’s freedom and autonomy, and anything that impinges on that freedom is unacceptable.

On a lighter note, if Gov. Nixon does sign the bill 72-hour waiting period into law, the abortion activists can blame their Big Labor pals in the Missouri Senate. reports that Senate Democrats ended their filibuster of the waiting-period bill and another measure “in exchange for Republicans’ abandoning two of their other priorities: voter photo identification and a measure targeting dues collection by public-sector unions.”

Translation: Missouri Democrats are more concerned about pleasing their civil rights and labor union friends than protecting “the rights of women.”

If leftists were intellectually honest, they’d denounce Democrats in the Show Me State for their “war on women.”

That’s not going to happen, of course, as that loaded rhetoric is saved exclusively for Republicans.

California Democrats kill bill that would have banned selective-sex abortion

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – California Democrats have killed a bill that would have banned selective-sex abortion, but approved a resolution condemning the practice. From

The Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act ran into opposition by all of the Democrats on the committee, who saw the bill as a prelude to broader abortion restrictions, according to a report from”

Hey, choice is choice. If the folks on the left really believe babies growing in their mother’s wombs are not really people, and are just as disposable as used napkins, then there’s nothing wrong with this. If we have a choice to kill unborn babies for any reason, then having the undesired sex is a legitimate reason.

It’s bad enough that millions of women have been using abortion as a form of very late birth control. Now they’re using it as a way to selectively shop for their preferred type of baby. It’s not going to be a large baby with lots of future football potential? Kill it. It’s not going to be the little girl ballet dancer we dreamed of having? Kill it. It’s not going to be a boy who would be expected to help on the farm? Kill it.

This sort of thing is a natural outgrowth of an insane industry that disrespects, devalues and destroys the most vulnerable form of human life on a daily basis. But it’s legal, and choice is choice.

The Democratic resolution condemning selection abortion is not going to save one innocent life from the abortionist’s instruments. But maybe the resolution will somehow help the Dems sleep better at night – if that’s possible.

We can only hope God can find it in His heart to forgive us for this absolute madness.

DailyKos/Timothy Lange: Hospitals Unnecessary for Doctors

The DailyKos isn’t an oasis of sanity most days, but usually the self-contradictions within their postings aren’t so obvious as those today by Timothy Lange, who goes by the name “Meteor Blades” on Daily Kos:
Lange is upset that Louisiana is talking about creating a registry of abortions in the state, no doubt to create reliable CDC reporting of this dangerous procedure, as well as to avoid repeats of abortionist monsters like Kermit Gosnell and Rapin Osathanondh in Massachusetts who only got 6 months for killing 22 year old Laura Hope Smith.
Not to mention the now-regular reports of Planned Parenthood covering up cases of statutory rape through abortions by older men.
Lange is understandably ignorant of these things, since the media refuses to report negative stories about abortion.
But Lange trips over his own words. He says:
“As for requiring abortion-providing doctors to have hospital admitting privileges, this is one of the means forced-birthers in several other states—Mississippi, North Dakota and Texas—have imposed or tried to impose on clinics in order to shut them down.”Now of course this is medically just about the stupidest thing you could ever read anywhere.Such an invasive procedure such as a surgical abortion can have a wide variety of complications, and, as in the Laura Hope Smith case, a patient can die in the minutes where a negligent doctor hesitates about what to do. For a group of people who constantly fear-monger about the return of “back alley abortion” days, they certainly want to keep abortion unsafe, legal, and common. Even abortion Barbie Wendy Davis admitted that she supported the regulations in the Texas regulations to make abortion safer, and increase the standard of care for women seeking abortions.

Lange is a disgusting wretch whose pro-abortion vitriol exposes his underlying ideological passion for cut-up babies. He fits in well at DailyKos.
