Texas Democrat Runs on Platform to IMPEACH OBAMA, Likens Him to Adolph Hitler

Now even some Democrats have had enough with Barack Obama.

Kesha Rogers, a Democrat who was running for the U.S. Senate from Texas, campaigned on a platform to impeach Obama.

BusinessInsider.com reports:

Texas Democrats are hoping to hold off a potential embarrassment Tuesday night as the party’s runoff election for the U.S. Senate features an establishment pick against a follower of controversial activist Lyndon LaRouche, who has repeatedly called for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.

“Now is the time to speak the truth, frankly and boldly. Unless the Democratic Party follows my lead, and immediately and publicly breaks with Wall Street, and crushes its fascist genocidal program, this nation will soon be lost. Obama can, and must be removed, immediately. Wall Street can, and must be crushed,” the LaRouche candidate, Kesha Rogers, wrote in the opening statement of her campaign platform.

Rogers’ website also features Obama with a Hitler mustache, as shown above.

Her website reads:

Mr. Obama has pushed his own version of policies made notorious by the Adolph Hitler regime, and since condemned by the entire world. His flagrant violations of the U.S. Constitution, national and international law, in addition to posing a clear and present danger of new violations, including martial law, thermonuclear war and the violent suppression of peaceful domestic opposition, warrant his immediate removal from the office of the Presidency. This is not a Republican or Democratic issue; it is existential to our nation’s survival in the midst of a global disintegration of the trans-Atlantic monetary system.

Rogers lost the runoff election last night.

As a federal appeals judge, Barron will do whatever it takes to implement progressive agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. – What have the Democrats in the U.S. Senate thrust upon us?

Yesterday the Senate voted 53-45 – along party lines – to confirm the nomination of Harvard professor David Barron to a seat on the 1st District U.S. Court of Appeals.

Prior to the vote, most of the debate about Barron centered on the memos he co-authored for the White House in support of using drones to kill Americans overseas.

But there’s a lot more about Barron that should have made senators from both parties wary of his confirmation. This is a man who embodies the current progressive philosophy that the ends justify the means when it comes to implementation of leftist policies.

Of course conservatives believe that officials elected by and accountable to the people – Congress and the president – should make laws, and the courts exist to interpret the constitutional correctness of those laws.

Judges are supposed to be the referees, not the players.

In recent decades many liberal judges have been guilty of crossing that line and creating new laws through the decisions they render from the bench.

The Left is using latest round of climate hysteria to distract from Obama’s ruinous policies

Michael Fish weather forecast
(BBC/PA – theguardian.com)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Perhaps you’ve noticed that Democrats and their co-workers in the media are acting especially hysterical lately about “man-made climate change.”

In just the past few days, there’ve been news stories warning that climate change could destroy America’s national landmarks, imperil our national security, lead to more wildfires, and even disrupt corn and rice production. (“Cereal lovers of the world may want to start stocking up now,” warns Time.com.)

On Wednesday, a group of leading Democrats gathered outside a Senate office building to highlight the need for immediate legislative action. California Sen. Barbara Boxer even called for an end to climate change “denial,” a deliberate word choice to subtly link climate-change skeptics to Holocaust deniers.

The environmentalists and their media groupies have obviously decided to crank up the volume of their alarmism to “11,” but why now?

That’s easy.

Leftists want to talk about the weather because the rest of their agenda has proven to be a total flop with the American people. Just consider the list of issues Democrats don’t want to talk about with the November elections looming.

If everybody deserves their share of federal spending, how will deficits ever cease?

money down drain
(The Heritage Network)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Despite some arguments over the details, the U.S. Senate appears ready to renew a package of more than 50 business tax breaks that would add about $85 million to the federal deficit, according to a report from the Associated Press.

“We will not pull the plug before our nation’s recovery is complete,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was quoted as saying. “By passing this tax extenders package we will build our nation’s economy more quickly.”

Of course it’s smart to limit the tax burden on private employers, and cancellation of the tax breaks, all at once, would impose a painful new financial burden on a lot of companies and industries.

Yet the all-too-familiar tone of Reid’s comments – we have to keep doing this – is troubling.

Just about everyone who benefits from government handouts of one kind or another can offer a logical argument for maintaining their piece of the pie. And there are too many politicians willing to keep doling out the dollars, particularly to pet interests. Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, for instance, wants to extend depreciation for motor sports tracks, according to the AP.

No doubt that would be good for the race tracks, and probably the economy of North Carolina. But where do we draw the line?

Obama tells Democrats midterm elections could derail his agenda

President Obama (Politico)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Obama has been telling wealthy Democratic supporters that loss of the Senate in this year’s mid-term elections could threaten to derail his agenda, according to the Washington Post:

As he toured a series of mansions, Obama made the case that should Democrats fail to keep their hold on the Senate and do not win back the House, both his second-term priorities and the country’s future could be imperiled.

We’re not sure what agenda the president is talking about – not that it matters. Second term presidents become lame ducks after the mid-terms, anyway, and their influence is greatly diminished as all attention turns to the race for a successor. Obama’s real fear is that loss of the Senate would probably end his wild abuse of executive orders, and would allow full-scale investigations of the Benghazi murders and IRS scandal. The Senate is Obama’s political firewall. Without it, he could end up wishing he was merely a lame duck that everyone ignores.
